Spiritual Fig Leaves

I further believe that my perpetual appetite for obsessive behavior, which inevitably consumes my time and energy, is the result of my attempts to cover my shame.

Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu; Chapter 25 Who is “The Great” one?

Lao Tzu describes God as “Tao” (translated as the “Way”). I will further note that Lao Tzu states that Tao may be understood to be “the Mother of all things”.
And finally, Lao Tzu gives ‘Tao’ the name “The Great”.
This is a profound chapter from the Tao Te Ching.
